This is the third volume in a series dedicated to publishing the complete works of Andy Warhol (1928–87), focusing on his sculptures and paintings from 1970–1974. This catalogue is as authoritative and detailed as the previous volumes, offering a comprehensive cataloguing and illustration of Warhol's works from these four years.
Warhol's focus shifted during this period; he was initially concentrating on film and sculpture following an incident in 1968. However, by late 1971 or early 1972, he began to return to painting, developing his characteristic 'sloppy and fast' style.
