The Vans Old Skool, originally known as the Style 36, debuted in 1977 as the second skate shoe ever created by Vans. It was the first Vans shoe to feature the iconic Sidestripe™, earning its place in footwear history. Renamed the Old Skool in the early 90s, it was officially recognized as a Vans Classic on its 30th anniversary.
