Nepenthes has collaborated with graphic designer, art director, and izakaya explorer Kazuhiko Ota on a collection of original tenugui (Japanese hand towels).

Tenugui have a long history in Japanese gift-giving culture and are a practical item integrated into daily life. Ota has incorporated American graphics from the 1940s-50s into this traditional item, creating a unique and avant-garde design.
