Oud Immortel is a fragrance duo built around oud, a wood with significant cultural meaning, traditionally used in incense and perfumes, and mentioned in the "Vedas," ancient Indian Sanskrit scriptures considered among the world's oldest texts. The wood develops a rich, fragrant resin when its core is infected by a specific type of fungus in the Aquilaria tree, which it uses as a defense mechanism. The complex aroma of oud, also known as agarwood, is distinct from other natural ingredients.
