The ASICS GEL-Kayano 12.1 'Black Pure Silver' is a first-time collaboration between ASICS SPORTSTYLE and the Tokyo-based streetwear brand Liberaiders. This model reimagines the GEL-Kayano 12.1 by combining the upper design from the 2006 12th generation with the tooling from the 2015 GEL-Nimbus 17, originally designed for long-distance running.

Collaboration with Liberaiders.
Upper features a black base with suede reinforcements.
Reflective material is used on the toe, ASICS stripes, and heel.
Interior lining is in the Liberaiders brand color, blue.
Midsole features black dot spray paint detailing on white parts.
Two pairs of shoelaces are included: one with reflective stitching and one in Liberaiders blue.
The tongue features the Kanji logo for Kayano on one side and the Liberaiders brand logo on the other.
Synthetic leather upper.
