Can Lis by Jørn Utzon is a visual ode to a famous 20th-century house, serving as an early ideal for site-inspired design. Located on a Mallorcan cliff, the house is almost hidden by the Marés stone it's constructed from. Photographer Simon Watson captures the play of light across the property, which Utzon used as his residence for over two decades, and his first permanent home after working on the Sydney Opera House.
