Adidas × Willy Chavarria
The Megaride AG is the chunky runner half of Chavarria's SS26 capsule — a layered mesh-and-TPU upper riding on what Sneaker Freaker calls a massive squishy Megaride sole that wraps the entire shoe. Chavarria debuted it during his Eterno show at Paris Fashion Week, walking the runner alongside wire-rimmed lowrider bicycles from his Big Willy line, staging it as Americana-meets-Chicano theater rather than a performance launch.

02 · KJ2040
KJ2040, the Cream White / Warm Vanilla / Power Red companion. Cream mesh base with tonal vanilla overlays and Power Red as a subtle outsole contrast rather than a structural pop. Same Megaride sole architecture, softer-spoken palette.

Both colorways released January 30, 2026 at 10 AM EST on the CONFIRMED App, adidas.com, willychavarria.com, and select retailers. Sneaker Bar Detroit and Sole Retriever both confirm the same date.
$200 USD for each colorway, per Sole Retriever and Modern Notoriety. The Willy Chavarria webstore lists the black version at the same $200.
Nice Kicks describes layered mesh bases with translucent TPU shells, suede at toe and heel for depth, and abstract Three Stripes worked into the TPU side panels. The Chavarria wordmark runs vertically down the tongue.
KJ2048 leans high-tech: silver metal mesh, translucent Putty Grey overlays, red foam hits beneath the sole and reflective accents. KJ2040 is softer — a cream mesh base with tonal Warm Vanilla overlays and the same Power Red contrast on the outsole.
The shoe rides on what Sneaker Freaker calls the massive squishy Megaride sole, wrapped around the entire shoe so the cushioning unit doubles as the silhouette's structural statement.
It's the SS26 runner, separate from the Superstar Rose / Love Prevails apparel capsule that landed in March and April 2026 — same season, different aesthetic lane.
