Adidas × Willy Chavarria
The SS25 Jabbar is Chavarria's tribute to Kareem Abdul-Jabbar's 1978 adidas silhouette, with "Kareem" foiled along the signature stripes, an off-center flap tongue and a sectioned rubber toe-cap reworked into a Chicano-runway proposition rather than a court reissue. The standout is the KK3692 leopard-print ponyhair Jabbar Low, with premium leather and ponyhair overlays on toe and shroud, "KAREEM" foiled on the right and "WILLY" on the left. Chavarria built the SS25 footwear around the 1978 adidas Jabbar, originally designed for Kareem Abdul-Jabbar. Both the Jabbar Low and the higher-cut Jabbar Dress carry "Kareem" imprinted along the signature stripes, per Hypebae and snkrdunk.
It rolled out in two drops: the first on May 8, 2025 at 10 AM SGT via the CONFIRMED app, the second on July 10, 2025. Hypebeast and Modern Notoriety both confirm those dates.
Modern Notoriety lists the May wave as the Chicano Sweatshirt, Football Jersey, Polo, Track Jacket, Wide Leg Trackpant, Gym Short, Signature T and Heavyweight Hoodie. The July wave added a Poplin Trackpant and Top, an updated Basketball Jersey and a fresh Gym Short.
Hypebae names red-on-black and all-white as the launch pair, plus the Core Black / Core Black / Gold Metallic HQ4867. The Dec 2025 capsule added a Legend Ink / Off White and a Core Black with leopard-print ponyhair (KK3692), all at $160.
