Moderat - III is an archival reissue originally recorded between 2004 and 2005 in Portland. This release follows the "Healer/Witness" white label 12 inch and features the last recordings Chromatics made before Ruth Radelet joined the band. The album was recorded during Chromatics' initial experimental studio period, which later shaped the sound of their "Night Drive" album.
