The Salomon XT-6 GTX was built for the trail. The city seems to have other plans for it.

Originally designed for long-distance trail running, the technical silhouette has become just as familiar on city streets. A synthetic and textile upper is backed by a GORE-TEX membrane for waterproof protection, while SensiFIT™ construction and the QuickLACE™ system provide a secure, adjustable fit.

Underfoot, the Agile Chassis System works with an EnergyCell midsole and Mud Contagrip® outsole for cushioning, stability and traction. Ready for bad weather. And considerably less ambitious plans.
