Freelight is Peak Performance's trail/run active-insulation layer, built around Polartec® Alpha™ Direct — 85 gsm open-knit fleece that insulates and breathes at once. That means high-output warmth for running, fast hiking, cool-morning starts, without the clammy feeling of a sealed puffer. Light, quick-drying, partially wind-resistant. Made without intentionally added PFAS. Men's hood ~281g, women's ~261g. Men's Freelight Alpha Hood, ~281g, 2-way YKK Vislon zipper, the Peak running mid-layer.

MATERIALS & CARE

Fabric: Polartec® Alpha™ Direct 85gsm open-knit fleece, ~281g, 2-way YKK Vislon zipper with PrimaLoft® ThermX / Polartec® Alpha™ / Polartec® Power Grid™ insulation. Machine wash cool to warm (30–40°C) on gentle with a technical wash, no fabric softener. Zip up zipper. Tumble dry low or air-dry. Do not iron directly on membrane or print. Do not dry-clean.
