The three mushrooms in the design that we use for our logo was inspired by one of the many psychedelic species of mushrooms, called Psilocybe Mexicana. There is much history behind this species of fungi, as it has been used in North & South indigenous cultural practices for over 2,000 years. Robert Gordon Wasson, a North American banker with a passion for mycology., introduced hallucinogenic mushrooms to the Western World with this species. Through María Sabina, he was able to discover the continuance of the ritual use of hallucinogenic mushrooms. Without this discovery, psilocybin mushrooms would have not made an impact in psychedelic research like they did from the 1950s through the 1970s.
