The innovative silhouette was like nothing else originally, and continues to remain a futuristic favourite today. Constructed with neoprene with nubuck overlays, a zippered shroud and exaggerated pull tabs add to the eye-catching uppers of this iteration. Under the shroud, 6-5-4-3 (N-I-K-E on keypads) reference the last four digits of the Nike's office numbers. A phylon midsole houses the responsive Max Air unit, whereas a rubberized outsole completes the build.
