The New Balance 2002R, originally released in 2020 as an Asian-made reissue of the 2010 USA-made flagship MR2002, is a hybrid model. It combines the original upper design with the sole unit from the ML860v2 running shoe. This kids' version retains the substantial silhouette of the original but features a hook-and-loop closure for easy on and off. It is finished in the OG grey colorway, reminiscent of the first USA-made model, and presented in a Steel/Lead colorway.
