Junya Watanabe launched his eponymous line in conjunction with Comme des Garcons in 1993 after working as a designer for the brand prior. Watanabe's designs reference punk and romantic aesthetics and the method of deconstruction. Knitted with rayon, nylon and wool to achieve a unique finish, the The Uneven Garment Dye Crewneck Knit is imbued with the brand's character with an uneven texture, reminiscent of a perfectly worn-in sweater feel.
