Originally released in 2009, the new Jordan 5 RETRO "VARSITY RED" comes close to the original. The Suede Upper is as well as the laces in red. On the outside of the heel there is an embroidered 23 and the cages for stabilization, which are left in their natural color. The tongue in a metallic silver is further enhanced by the black Jumpman logo. Black accents on the lace reinforcement and sole contrast the otherwise red upper.
