Completely redesigned for 2026, the Frontier 2.0 Split is built to be the perfect split for the backcountry rider who wants a high performance directional freeride shape with a friendly flex. Featuring a long nose, a tapered tail and a directional rocker profile, the Frontier 2.0 offers epic float in pow and solid edge grip on hardpack.
Flex: 4/10
Shape: Directional Freeride - Directional shapes that maximize float, speed and response for supreme freeride performance and all-mountain versatility.
Low Taper - The tapered shape sinks the tail in pow for better float and quicker turns.
Bend: Directional Camber/Rocker - A camber dominant profile that’s enhanced with rocker in the nose and little to no rocker in the tail. Nose rocker improves float and maneuverability in deep snow, while camber from the front binding through the tail offers solid edge grip, precise response and confidence inspiring stability.
Sidecut: Progressive - At the far ends of the sidecut, the radius is incrementally increased as the edge reaches the contact point. Gradually increasing the sidecut radius towards the contact point delivers smoother turn initiation and exit as the edge tracks in and out of the snow with a less abrupt transition.
Core: Control Split Core - Premium dual density wood core made out of responsibly harvested Paulownia and Poplar. 2:1 Paulownia to Poplar stringer ratio creates a lightweight core that’s damp and durable.
Fibreglass: Biax - Biaxial fiberglass laminate made with a duallayer, dual-directional construction that delivers a forgiving yet snappy board feel with a mid-soft torsional flex and quick energy transfer.
Base: Sintered 8000 Base - Premium sintered base material that’s ultra fast, highly wax absorbent, easy to repair and proven to be one of the most durable and long lasting base materials in the industry.
