Boy Smells began in 2016 as a candle-making experiment in Los Angeles by co-founders Matthew Herman and David Kien. As fashion veterans, they aimed to create fluid and essential products for daily use. The "Les" candle is named after the French plural article and is also an acronym for a vibrant New York City neighborhood.
