Boy's Own was a seminal zine that emerged in 1986, documenting London's acid house revolution and merging clubbing and football terrace culture. Founded by Terry Farley, Cymon Eckel, Steve Mayes, Steve Hall, and Andrew Weatherall, it offered a satirical, insider perspective on the fashion and music connecting these worlds. Despite its DIY aesthetic, often featuring spelling mistakes and typed by Farley's mother, Boy's Own became a voice and catalyst for its era.
