Fossora is the 10th album from artist Björk.
Its name is derived from the feminine version of the Latin word for digger, and draws from Björk’s experience being grounded during lockdown in her native Iceland.
Björk incorporates different influences and styles on Fossora, including earthy bass clarinets and thematic explorations into her ancestry, alongside vigorous gabber eruptions, culminating in a style described as “biological techno”.
