NYC Restaurants Ads is the first archival project from Nikki Igl's Public Image Library, released in collaboration with Blurring Books. Drawn from the Public Image Library's print archives, this book documents the evolution of Manhattan's dining scene between 1981 and 1998, as presented in the advertising sections of magazines like Interview, Paper, and Details. These visual archives capture the progression of both culinary discovery and graphic design as New York City diners explored global cuisines and sought out the latest hotspots.
