Founded in 1937 in Albizzate, Italy by Vitale Bramani after a mountaineering tragedy exposed the need for better boot soles, Vibram is the world's leading rubber sole manufacturer. Beyond supplying outsoles to hundreds of footwear brands, Vibram's own FiveFingers barefoot shoes became a cultural and fitness phenomenon.
