Founded in 2014 in Paris by Georgian designer Demna Gvasalia and his brother Guram, Vetements disrupted high fashion with oversized silhouettes, ironic branding, and deconstructed everyday garments. Demna departed in 2019 to focus on Balenciaga, but the label continues under Guram's direction.
