Founded in 2017 by Korean-American artist Junghoon Son, VandyThePink began as a sneaker customization project and evolved into a full streetwear and footwear brand. The name honors Son's mother's former clothing store in Korea, combining the Korean words for firefly and pink light as symbols of hope.
