Founded in 1913 on the Lower East Side of Manhattan by brothers Irving and Jack Schott, Schott NYC invented the first zippered motorcycle jacket in 1928, the iconic Perfecto worn by Marlon Brando and The Ramones. Still family-owned and largely made in the USA, Schott remains the definitive American leather jacket manufacturer.
