Pleats Please is a sub-line of Issey Miyake, launched in 1993 to bring Miyake's signature micro-pleating technology into everyday, washable, travel-friendly clothing. The garments are cut and sewn two-and-a-half times their final size, then heat-pressed into permanent pleats — a process that gives each piece its distinctive texture and effortless drape.
