Camper was founded in 1975 in Inca, Mallorca, by Lorenzo Fluxà, whose family had been making shoes on the island since 1877. The brand carved out a distinctive position with comfort-driven construction, playful asymmetric designs (like the Twins, where each shoe is intentionally different), and collaborations with architects and designers. Camper opened its first store in Barcelona in 1981 and now operates globally.
